Miss Pambianchi instructs students during a drama class.

Lower School:  Students will study the history of theatre and practice theatre games. They will learn the vocabulary of the stage; read, discuss, and perform skits, monologues, dialogues, and dramatic plays. They will be exposed to work on and off the stage. Children will engage in warm-ups and theatre games to help them move from dramatizations with simple plots to those with more complex plots, characters, and ideas. They will learn through the processes of imagination, enactment, and reflection.

Middle School:  Students will study the history of theatre and practice theatre games. They will learn the vocabulary of the stage; read, discuss, and perform a class show which they choose. They will be exposed to work on and off the stage as well as tour and see the backstages of local community theatres.
