The Nominating Process is as follows:- The nominating process for the 2012-2013 RAPA Executive Board and other leadership positions will commence on April 9, 2012 and conclude on April 20, 2012.
- During this time confidential nomination ballots will be accepted for consideration.
- Any RA parent who is interested in holding a RAPA Executive Board or other leadership position is invited and encouraged to submit a ballot on his or her own behalf. In addition, any interested party may submit a ballot on behalf of another person(s).
- Each ballot, in order to be considered, must contain the submitting party’s signature.
- Completed ballots must be returned to Donna Talmadge or Linda Goodfriend by no later than April 20, 2012.
- At the close of the nominating process a confidential slate of names shall be prepared and presented to the Selection Committee.

Any RA parent can submit his or her own name for consideration, as well as the name(s) of other parents who may be interested in serving in a leadership role next year. Completed ballots should be placed in the ballot boxes located in the lobbies of the Summit Building and Lynch House. Additional ballot forms will also be available.
The continued success of RAPA depends so much on the active participation of our parent volunteers, and I encourage any parent who is interested in contributing his or her time and talents to participate in the nominating process.
