A Note from Director, Ann Hirsch
I wanted to thank everyone for a great turn out to the Twos parents coffees last Tuesday and Wednesday morning as well as our Parents Night on this past Thursday. I’m very excited for a great school year together!
As a reminder, our families' e-mails and home addresses, are not for public distribution, but for classroom communication.
Wish List Items
Every teacher has posted special items that they would like to receive or order for their classroom. Please check your child’s classroom, and although there may be some pricier options, please do not feel overwhelmed as small donations can be made towards or more costly items. If you picked up one of the Wish List Items and have not paid for it, please return it to your child's teacher or bring it to the Main Office. A big thank you to the parents that have already purchased Wish List Items. Within the next week, an online payment option will be available.
School Pick-Up
Parents, please be respectful of classroom pick-up times as teachers have other obligations at the end of the school day.
Twos at 1:00 pm
Threes is between 1:45 - 2:15 pm
Fours is between 2:00 - 2:30 pm
Fives is between 2:30 - 2:45 pm
After-Care Eats
Please pack an additional nut-free snack labeled "After-Care" for your child if they will be using our extended care program.
After School Clubs
This week our After School Clubs begin! Children that have been signed up for either Club will be walked to their appropriate room by his or her teacher. Pick up for both clubs will be no later than 3:15 pm at either the Gym (Martial Arts) or in the “Fun for Ones” classroom (Mandarin Chinese). For any parent that is late, the child will be signed into After-Care and billed as such. If your child is already a registered user, the child will be walked to the After-Care room following either Club.
On Tuesday, September 28th, Martial Arts will be held in the Gym. Please provide your child with comfortable clothes that allows your child to move (ie: shorts, sweatpants, t-shirt). Please note that there is no class on October 12th.
On Thursday, September 30th, Mandarin Club will be held in the lower level “Fun for Ones” classroom that is adjacent to the Threes classrooms. Please note that there is no class on November 11th and November 25th.
Redding Open House Dates
Please refer a friend to attend an upcoming Open House. Tours of the Twos program start at 9:30 am while tours of Threes, Fours, and Fives will start at 10:30 am.
Help Wanted!
Every year we publish a keepsake for our children filled with great photos. If you have any experience or interest in this project, please e-mail Ann Hirsch at ahirsch@landmarkpreschool.org.
Hot Lunch Program
Beginning Tuesday, October 5th, the Hot Lunch program will begin. Forms were sent home last week in your child's backpack. Additional forms can be picked up in the Main Office. If interested, please fill out the form and appropriate payment and give it to your child's teacher or drop it off in the Main Office.
