Patriots Play Hard Against Wooster
	On Wednesday, February 8th, 2012 the 6th grade boy’s basketball team lost to Wooster’s co-ed team 31-51. Despite the loss, the Patriots coaches could not have been more proud of the overall team effort. Andrew Chiodi led the scoring with 19 points, followed by Ethan Nowak with 10 points. Trevor Roughan had his first basket of the season contributing 2 points. The 6th grader, Abigail Chow, and 7th graders Grace Henrich and Eleanor Henrich, stepped it up and helped contribute to our team’s success on defense. Andrew Bornstein, Robert Nielsen and Edward Elmhirst all did a tremendous job rebounding on defense. The 6th grade boys will be compete against Mizzentop at home on Monday, February 13, 2012.

	Patriots Score Back to Back Wins
	On Monday, the 6th grade boys basketball team won their second straight game against French American 28-24. Kevin Arnold played a remarkable game on both sides of the ball and led all scorers with 19 points. Ethan Nowak continued his hot scoring as he netted 7 points. Defensively for the Patriots, A.J. Bornstein led a tenacious attack to shut down French American's outside shooting barrage. The improved play of the team was evident as each player contributed their best effort and secured another victory. The team is back in action on Monday, January 30th at home against Wooster.

	Patriots Score First Victory of Season
	The 6th grade boys basketball team defeated Mizzentop 28-23 in basketball action on Thursday, January 26th for their first victory of the season! Leading the way for RA was Ethan Nowak who scored 12 points. Adding to the scoreboard were Andrew Chiodi with 7 points, Kevin Arnold with 5 points and Michael Ambrosio with 4 points. Defensively for the Patriots, Trevor Roughan, Bryce Chu, Jonah Norwitt, Kevin Maldonado, and Robert Nielsen did a fantastic job rebounding, and shutting down the Toppers offensive attack. The Patriots are back in action on Monday, January 30th at home as they take on French American.

	6th Grade Boys Begin Season with Loss to Christian Life Academy
	The 6th grade boys basketball team opened their season on Tuesday, January 10th with a 32-46 loss to Christian Life Academy of Brookfield. Despite being outscored, the Patriots played well together through all four quarters. Kevin Arnold led the scoring with 14 points while Andrew Chiodi netted 10. Ethan Nowak contributed 6 points, 4 of which came from the free throw line, and Kevin Maldonado added 2 to the scoreboard. The boys will be back in action at Mizzentop on January 26th.
