Secondary School Admissions Calendar
	Month 7th Grade 8th Grade September Individual Parent Meetings with Mr. Heus and/or Mr. Perry Students meet weekly with Mr. Heus and/or Mr. Perry Make school interview/visit appointments October Attend RA's Annual Secondary School Admissions Fair Attend RA's Annual Secondary School Admissions Fair November-December    Take ISEE or SSAT Submit teacher recommendations requests to Upper School Office Early decision applications must be completed January    Complete ALL applications and mail according to each school's deadline February  General Parents Meeting - Placement Process   March    School decisions Re-visit opportunities (if offered) March-April    Families must return their enrollment contract and tuition deposit to the school of their choice Families should write a brief note of thanks to any school that has sent a letter of acceptance and notify the school of a decision to go elsewhere Families should notify Mr. Heus and/or Mr. Perry as to their decision and results of all applications April-May  Individual parent meetings with Mr. Heus and/or Mr. Perry Public School course selection and recommendations May Boarding School tour 7th Grade Parents Meeting and Panel Discussion with Selected Admissions Directors   June      July-August  Summer preparation for ISEE/SSAT Call schools for applications and viewbooks Research schools via the web     For a printable version of this document, please click here.
