Masquerade Uncovers Fun and Merriment
Ridgefield Academy welcomed over 200 masked (mostly) guests to the beautifully-decorated Lynch House for Masquerade - a Fete to Benefit the Students of RA last Saturday evening.

With the melodic sound of a jazz trio in the background, bidders walked through the silent auction area before heading in to the tent for Chef Marc's delicious bayou-style food, including jambalaya, po' boy sandwiches, and spicy chips (to name a few!).

Samba dancers paraded through the crowd to announce the starting of the live auction, and as guests took their seat in Hope Hall, they were treated to an energetic dance performance to open the bidding. RA was most fortunate to have Ira Joe Fisher join us for the sixth year as our volunteer auctioneer.

At the conclusion of the main event, guests closed out the evening dancing to the big sound of Soul be it, a 10-piece band that hails from Long Island.

We offer our sincere thanks to our Auction Chairs, Mary Kate Delattre, Joo In Kang and Nanette Giordano for planning and coordinating this event for our school and the many volunteers who assisted in making this such a special evening. We are very grateful to each and every family who came to the event, solicited for auction items, or bid generously in support of our school. It was a successful night from all standards and we are so grateful for your support!
