School Reach Emergency Announcement System
On Saturday, October 1st, we ran a test of our School Reach Emergency Announcement System. Please let us know if you did not receive a call or if you wish to add or change a contact phone number. We will be using this system as necessary throughout the school year to inform you of any closings, delays, early dismissals, etc.
Wrapping Paper Fundraiser
The last day to place orders for our Wrapping Paper Fundraiser is tomorrow, Tuesday, October 4th. You may place your orders online at www.innisbrook.com or via the hard copy order form that was included in the program packet. Please return any hard copy orders by tomorrow afternoon to to your childs teacher or to the Main Office.
Fall Family Day is Coming!
While you are already familiar with our Redding campus, we are one great school with three great locations, and on Saturday, October 15th, our Ridgefield campus is throwing one big party and you are invited! Fall Family Day will be held on Saturday, October 15 from 11:00am - 3:00pm. Weather permitting, all the fun will take place on our scenic lower fields. There will be activities for all ages and interests to enjoy, including inflatables, a petting zoo, the third Annual Egg Drop, bungee jumping(!), face painting, friendly athletic challenges, delicious food... and much more! We look forward to seeing you all at this fun-filled family event. Ridgefield Academy is located at 223 West Mountain Rd. in Ridgefield.
Health and Safety Reminder
Our Director, Ann Hirsch and Nurse Consultant, Christine Anderson would like to remind all parents who have children with allergies to send in an appropriate healthy snack for their child each day.
After Care Update
If your child is staying for our After Care program please be sure to send in an additional snack for him/her to have during the afternoon. If you need to reach After Care and it is 4:15pm or later, please call the After Care phone number: 203-994-1003. The main office closes at 4:15 pm and calls will go to the office answering machine at this time so make a note of this very important phone number! Thank you.

| After School Clubs | | | | | | | | We had a great first week with our After School Clubs. For anyone interested, there are still openings in Mandarin Club on Wednesday afternoons and the Thursday session of Martial Arts. If you would like to sign up for any of these Clubs, please click below for our registration form. Children that are registered for a club will be walked to their appropriate club classroom by his or her teacher. The pick-up time for all clubs will be no later than 3:15 pm at either the Recreation Room for Martial Arts or the "Fun For Ones" room for Mandarin Chinese or the Art Club. For any parent that is late, the child will be signed into After-Care and billed as such. If your child is already a registered regular user, the child will be escorted to the After-Care room following the club. Please note that with the exception of a weather related and/or other emergency cancellation of school or the specific club there will be no make-up sessions given. Please plan your childs schedule accordingly so that he/she can attend the club sessions as registered.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Art Club is canceled for today, Monday, October 3rd. We have scheduled a make-up session for Monday, November 14th. There will be no class held this coming Monday, October 10th due to the Columbus Day holiday. Have a great long weekend!
On Thursday, October, 6th, the first session of Thursday Martial Arts will be held in the Recreation Room located on the lower level.
Pick up is at 3:15 pm.

| Community Bulletin Board | | | | | | | | Read Aloud Day
October 18th - The Seventeenth Annual Community Read Aloud Day sponsored by the Wilton Education Foundation will be held at 9:45 am for Grades K-2 at Miller Driscoll School and at 1:15 pm for Grades 3-5 at Cider Mill School. Conservatory of Dance
The Conservatory of Dance located in Georgetown offers dance classes from ages 2 1/2 to adult. Classes are offered in ballet. jazz, Hip Hop, and Tap as well as several other forms of dance. Wise Learning is now in Ridgefield!
Wise Learning provides one-on-one tutoring services, supervised study halls, and specialized programs to students who learn differently.
Specializing in students struggling with learning disabilities such as:
ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, NVLD, ASD,
Executive Function Disorders, Processing Disorders, etc.
Wise tutoring programs are each one of a kind, developed to meet the unique needs of each student.
One-on-one instruction is delivered by Certified Teachers and overseen by a Director.
