SMILE! It's Almost Time For School Photos!
 Our wonderful photographer from Skylight Studios will be here on October 27th & 28th to capture those timeless and treasured preschool memories. Teachers have already sent a payment envelope home in your child's backpack, so please contact the office if you did not receive one. Please remember that packages must be prepaid by the day of your child's photo; however, if for any reason you are not pleased with your photographs, Skylight Studios will either retake the photo or refund your money. If you choose not to purchase a photograph package, your child's photo will be taken for yearbook purposes only.
Halloween Celebrations, Monday, October 31st
Please check your child’s daily sheet for details, as each class has a different schedule. Following our classroom celebrations, all families are invited to join us for a concert with Tom Weber from 2:00-3:00 in our gym. Thank you to LPA for sponsoring this fun holiday event.
Open House Dates
Although it seems as though the school year has just begun, it is already time for next year’s families to begin visiting preschools. We find that the families who choose this program for their children have a high degree of commitment to excellence in preschool education. Our program is a great fit for families like yours. If you have a friend who you think would like to know more about our program, please tell them about our upcoming open houses, or they can contact our Admissions Director, Kim McElderry at KMcElderry@landmarkpreschool.org for a personal tour.
Parent Teacher Conferences
On Wednesday, November 9th and Thursday, November 10th, our Twos classes will be dismissed at 11:00am for Parent  Teacher Conferences. There will be no After Care for Twos on these days. All classes in our Threes through Kindergarten will be dismissed at 12:00pm. For these classes, there are a limited number of spaces available for After Care. If you would like to use our After Care program on either of these two days, please complete and return the form that was sent home with your child last week. Children must be registered users of our Extended Care program to participate and all regular Extended Care fees will apply. If your child is not currently registered for Extended Care, registration forms can be found here. Please be sure to provide your child with lunch and snack if your child is staying on either of these two days.
Next Steps Coffees
In the upcoming weeks, we will host three informational coffees to help our current Landmark families learn more about the next step in their child's academic journey. During these coffees, head teachers will be on hand to discuss curriculum and answer any questions you may have. Families will then have an opportunity to tour the classrooms. Times and dates are below; please note that these coffees are for our current Landmark families. Families who are interested in joining the Landmark community should contact Kim McElderry for more information on our upcoming Open Houses.

| LPA News... | | | | | | | | Landmark Pumpkin Patch It's beginning to look a lot like fall on our upper playground! During the upcoming weeks, each class will have an opportunity to enjoy our "Pumpkin Patch" and choose a pumpkin to bring home. Special thanks to the following people for adding such a festive touch to our campus: Olesia Borets, Missy Howe, Amy Lopatin, Malina Malkani, Alison Roberts, Chrissy Toeplitz, LJ Wilks and Missy Zahler. Scholastic Book Fair
Our Scholastic Book Fair will be held on December 1st, and we're looking for volunteers! If you are interested in helping, especially between the hours of 8:00-8:30am and 2:30-3:30pm, please contact Book Fair Chair Luisa Fitzpatrick (luisafitz@mac.com) for ways you can help. Also this year, the Book Fair Committee will be offering available space to our Landmark families for crafts, products or services they'd like to display.
