A Message From Our Director of Admission
The Winter 2012 Session of our popular Fun For Ones program has just one spot remaining and the Spring 2012 Session is now completely full.  If you are interested in one of the remaining spots in the Winter Session please do not delay in contacting Kim McElderry at kmcelderry@landmarkpreschool.org to register for this program.
 
 
Thanksgiving Feasts
Our Threes, Fours and Fives classes will be celebrating Thanksgiving in their classrooms from 11:30 am -12:30 pm.  Please feel free to discuss specific details with your childs teacher.  Celebrations will be held on the following days according to the list below:
Tuesday, November 15th - Ms. Booth
Wednesday, November 16th - Mrs. D'Onofrio
Thursday, November 17th - Mrs. Bollaro
Friday, November 18th - Mrs. Salerno
Monday, November 21st - Mrs. Hodson/Mrs. Maloney

Ms. Pugner's and Mrs. Santini's classes will be having a special celebratory Thanksgiving snack on Monday, November 21st and Tuesday, November 22nd.  Details to follow.
 
 
Hold The Date
The Social Committee is busy planning our next Adult Social Event.  Please plan to kick start the Holiday Season by joining us on Friday, December 2nd from 6:00-8:00pm for the Annual Fund Kick Off Party. Invitations with additional details will be coming home soon.  Hope to see you then!
  
Professional Development Day
Although we missed your children, last Friday was an extremely productive day as all of our Preschool faculty from the Redding, Westport and Ridgefield campuses met to work on  creative curriculum ideas and the use of technology in the preschool classroom.  Later in the afternoon, we all headed up to Ridgefield Academy to attend the workshop entitled, "Six Paradigm Shifts For 21st Century Education",  presented by Educational Consultant, Peter Cobb.   
 
The Landmark Faculty switched roles and were the "students" last Friday for Professional Development Day
 
Community Service Pajama Collection
The Community Service Committee is continuing its drive to collect Pajamas through this week.  Please place any donations in the bins outside of your childs classroom or the Main Office.  Thanks for your help!
 
Parents Coffee Meet & Greet!
It is never too early to begin thinking about next year. Please join Ann Hirsch and Kim McElderry for some coffee and an overview and tour of each grades individual Programs curriculum. Each age is held on a particular day so be sure to come and check out what's next for your child. We hope to see you there!
 
         

  • On Thursday, December 1st  at 9:00 am, parents of current Fours students are invited to meet in the After-care room  located on the upper level adjacent to the Fours classes. This is the perfect opportunity to see our fabulous Fives students in action, along with their wonderful head teacher, Mrs. Salerno, and her assistant teachers, Mrs. Tangney and Mrs. Anderson!
  • On Wednesday, December 7th at 9:00 am, parents of current Threes students are welcomed to our After Care room located on the upper level adjacent to the Fours classes. This is a great opportunity to see our terrific Fours students in action, along with their wonderful head teachers, Mrs. D'Onofrio, Mrs. Maloney and Mrs. Bollaro and their great assistant teachers, Mrs. Schuyler, Mrs. Maher, Mrs. Peckham, Ms. Malik, and  Ms. Wegner and Mrs. LaBarbera. 
  • On Wednesday, November 30th and Tuesday, December 6th at 9:15 am, parents of current Two's students are asked to meet in our Fun For Ones room at 9:15 am, located on the lower level adjacent to the Threes classes. This is a wonderful opportunity to see our fantastic Threes students in action, along with their wonderful head teachers, Ms. Booth and Mrs. Mungavin, and their awesome assistant teachers, Mrs. Franzino, Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Yacko and Mrs. Rivoli.

Ridgefield Woman's Club
The Ridgefield Woman's Club’s 41st Annual Craft Fair will be held this Saturday November 19th.
