We hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with fun, family and friends!
Annual Fund Kick Off Party
All of our families have been invited to celebrate the start of the holiday season and kick off Landmark's Annual Fund Campaign! This festive event will be held this Friday, December 2nd from 6-8 pm at 104 Nod Hill Road in Ridgefield. Book your sitter and round up your friends! It is sure to be a great evening and will include food and wine selections from Terra Sole, No. 109 Cheese and Cellar XV. Please RSVP to: scahalan@landmarkpreschool.org. See you there!
A Special Thank You From The Community Service Committee
Dear Landmark Families,
On behalf of the Community Service Committee, we would like to thank everyone who donated to the Pajama Drive. The Pajama Drive was extremely successful, and we are very grateful to you for your support.
Over the course of two and a half weeks, we were able to collect 93 brand-new pajamas, all of which will be matched by Scholastic Book Clubs, and donated to the Pajama Program.
Since it’s inception in 2001, the Pajama Program has given away 92,599 new pajamas and 115,606 new books to children in need, many of who live in orphanages, group homes, and shelters. Many of the children who receive the donations, have never had a loved one tuck them in at night, and others have never owned a pair of pajamas.
So when you tuck your own child into bed, when that last page of the book has been read, and their blankets have been placed exactly where they want them to lay, know that somewhere else in our community, another little one is also going to bed feeling warm and cozy thanks to your very generous donation of new pajamas.

Parents Coffee Meet & Greet!
It is never too early to begin thinking about next year. Please join Ann Hirsch and Kim McElderry for some coffee and an overview and tour of each grades individual Programs curriculum. Each age is held on a particular day so be sure to come and check out what's next for your child. We hope to see you there!
- On Thursday, December 1st at 9:00 am, parents of current Fours students are invited to meet in the After-care room located on the upper level adjacent to the Fours classes. This is the perfect opportunity to see our fabulous Fives students in action, along with their wonderful head teacher, Mrs. Salerno, and her assistant teachers, Mrs. Tangney and Mrs. Anderson!
- On Wednesday, December 7th at 9:00 am, parents of current Threes students are welcomed to our After Care room located on the upper level adjacent to the Fours classes. This is a great opportunity to see our terrific Fours students in action, along with their wonderful head teachers, Mrs. D'Onofrio, Mrs. Maloney and Mrs. Bollaro and their great assistant teachers, Mrs. Schuyler, Mrs. Maher, Mrs. Peckham, Ms. Malik, and Ms. Wegner and Mrs. LaBarbera.
- On Wednesday, November 30th and Tuesday, December 6th at 9:15 am, parents of current Two's students are asked to meet in our Fun For Ones room at 9:15 am, located on the lower level adjacent to the Threes classes. This is a wonderful opportunity to see our fantastic Threes students in action, along with their wonderful head teachers, Ms. Booth and Mrs. Mungavin, and their awesome assistant teachers, Mrs. Franzino, Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Yacko and Mrs. Rivoli.
Holiday Cookie Exchange
Save the Date!!!! Landmark will be holding a Holiday Cookie exchange on Thursday December 15th from 10-12:30pm in the Gymnasium. All are welcome to participate with an RSVP to Anna Nowak at Lionspaw06877@yahoo.com. We kindly ask to keep all cookies nut free and all are welcome to bring 1-3 plates/trays to exchange. Ribbons and wraps will be provided along with some refreshments while you exchange and create your own cookie assortment. Please bring your own plates,trays and cookie tins to the exchange. This will be a fun and festive gathering before the Holidays and we look forward to seeing you! Please contact Anna with any questions you may have about recipes etc.
Fall Afterschool Clubs
Our Fall Clubs are finishing up for the season. The last day of the Tuesday session of Martial Arts will be December 13th. The Thursday session of Martial Arts wraps up next week on December 8th. Mandarin Club will end on Wednesday, December 7th. Thank you to all of our club participants. A listing of our Winter After School Clubs will be announced soon.
December Vacation Club
We will be running our popular Vacation Club from Monday, December 19th thru Wednesday, December 21st. The club will run from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. Registration forms are being sent home via backpack or you can print one out at home by clicking here.

Mrs. Mungavins class received a new train set as a prize for "highest overall participation" and Ms. Pugner's class received a new Dollhouse as their prize for "most wrapping paper dollars sold".

Gingerbread Holiday Brunch
The Weston Womens League is sponsoring a Gingerbread Holiday Brunch on Saturday, December 10th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Weston Intermediate School Cafetorium. This event will benefit The Weston Warm-up Fund & The Children's Connection. There will be Gingerbread House decorating and contests, delicious food, Holiday photos, crafts and more! This presentation will focus on ways to help decrease your child's anxiety. It will give strategies for lessening worries and conquering fears. It will also discuss ways of simplifying at home to help raise a confident self-assured child. Presented by Lauren Wolfe, M.S., N.C.C.
