What's New at Landmark...

Winter Enrichment Clubs

This winter we are once again offering clubs for both Mandarin and Marital Arts. Sessions for Mandarin have already begun, but there are still spots remaining for those interested.  Martial Arts began on the 26th and there is currently still limited availability in the second session.  For more information, including pricing and registration forms, please visit our website.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Our Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, February 16th and Friday, February 17th, if you have not yet scheduled your conference, please contact your child’s teacher to do so. Please remember that these are early dismissal days for our students, however we will have a limited number of After Care spaces available for children in our Threes through Kindergarten on those days. Children must be registered in advance to use After Care on conference days, even if you are a regular user of After Care.  All After Care fees will apply.  Currently there are only two remaining spots for After Care on these days.  A form was sent home in your child’s folder this week.  Please complete and return this form if you would like to make use of our After Care program on either of these days.  If you did not receive a form, or have misplaced it, you can download a copy here.

February Community Service Project

This month's Community Service Project will focus on "Valentines for Seniors and Soldiers." As we have in past years, students will be making Valentines to share with our neighbors at the health center here on Burr Rd.  In addition, this year we would also like to send some cheer to our troops in the form of Valentine wishes and a collection of much-needed personal items for those of our soldiers serving abroad. The list below was provided by a soldier who has been serving in Afghanistan. In addition to our Souper Bowl collection boxes, we'll also have boxes set out to collect items for our troops. Items they have requested include:
  • Mole Skin
  • Toothpaste
  • Disposable razors
  • Foot powder
  • Shaving cream
  • Hand sanitizers
  • Hand and foot warmers
  • Books
  • Mouthwash
  • Baby wipes
  • Candy
  • Boot socks – size 9-12
