What's New at Landmark...

Drop-off Safety

Recently we have received several phone calls and emails regarding the safety and courtesy at morning drop-off.  Please be mindful of the following:

• Drive slowly and be alert.
• Wait for the car in front of you to move before pulling away.
• Be patient; we have many students arriving/going home at the same time.
• Park only in designated spaces.
• When entering the drop-off circle, please be courteous and take turns, as we have children in cars coming from both directions.

Thank you for your patience during this very busy time of the morning.

February Community Service Project

This month's Community Service Project will focus on "Valentines for Seniors and Soldiers." As we have in past years, students will be making Valentines to share with our neighbors at the health center here on Burr Rd.  In addition, this year we would also like to send some cheer to our troops in the form of Valentine wishes and a collection of much-needed personal items for those of our soldiers serving abroad. The list below was provided by a soldier who has been serving in Afghanistan. In addition to our Souper Bowl collection boxes, we'll also have boxes set out to collect items for our troops. Items they have requested include:
 Mole Skin
 Disposable Razors
 Foot Powder
 Toothpaste  Shaving Cream
 Hand Sanitizer
 Hand & Foot Warmers
 Books  Mouthwash
 Baby Wipes
 Candy  Boot Socks (Sz 9-12)

GO TEAM LANDMARK!

Once again, Landmark Preschool will be sponsoring a six person, "Ultra" Marathon Team in the Ragnar Relay Series.  Team Landmark, made up of six adults, three of which are Landmark parents, are running this year in memory of Mrs. Teresa Casarella, our beloved Twos Assistant Teacher who passed away last year.

In this epic event, Team Landmark will start amid Boston Royalty at the Ames Mansion in Borderlands State Park, head towards Plymouth and run along the canal trail. They will travel through pristine beaches and historic towns as they run, walk, or crawl through Cape Cod on their way toward Provincetown.

Best of luck to Landmark runners, Mark Montanaro, Shannon Whipple and James Whipple.
