The Bridge Media Camp (Grades 4 - 8)

Ridgefield Academy's Media Camp is open to students entering grades 4-8.  Students will be grouped by grade level.  This camp will encourage campers to explore the world of Digital Arts.  They will have the opportunity to animate adventures, conquer claymation, build robots, discover digital storytelling, dance in a music video, and test the limits of their imagination.  Activities will take place in The Bridge, a center for the media arts and writing, opened in September 2011.  This 6,000 square foot, air-conditioned facility includes rooms dedicated to writing and research; film production and design; a "Green Screen" room for filming, ten large video monitors for editing and design; and a video gallery and sound editing/mixing.  With numerous break-out rooms, this facility encourages collaborative work and creative thought.

Our outdoor facility features a picnic area, playing fields (turf & grass), age-appropriate playgrounds and a water slide.
