Ridgefield Academy is an independent day school in Ridgefield, CT with students in Kindergarten through Grade 8. Our Landmark Preschools have programs for children ages one - five at our Ridgefield, Redding and Westport, CT locations and Bedford, NY.

Faculty Assignments
All faculty are expected to have expertise at the grade level and/or within the subject areas for the position. In addition, it is essential to have demonstrated the ability to create a flexible educational program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth. In addition, it is expected that all employees agree to perform additional assigned duties such as coaching, supervision of student activities and trips, attendance at school events and assignments supporting our service learning program.

Substitute Teaching Assignments

Ridgefield Academy/Landmark Preschool is currently seeking substitute teachers for Preschool (Redding, Ridgefield, Westport and Bedford, NY Campuses) and Kindergarten through 8th Grade (Ridgefield Campus only). Most assignments will be on a daily basis but there are occasional opportunities for longer term assignments.

We are seeking candidates with general subject matter experience for all age and grade levels as well as those who have experience in specific subject areas for our middle and upper schools. Subject areas include: Math, Science, History, English, Technology, World Languages (Spanish and French), Music and Art.
