RA science teacher Mac Rand will be traveling to Africa over spring break and his mission is twofold. Mac will be meeting with Ashley Holmer, founder of Red Sweater Project to further discuss a global outreach partnership between RA and the organization. Red Sweater Project focuses on quality education, gender equality, and responsible innovation. While there, Mac will see firsthand how Red Sweater operates on a daily basis and assess how RA can help and be part of making a difference in the lives of so many children half way across the world. More information on Red Sweater Project can be viewed here.

Mac will also be climbing Mt Kilimanjaro to raise funds for Team in Training and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for cancer research.
