We are pleased to announce that Clancy Healy has joined the development office as the manager of the annual fund and alumni engagement. In this capacity, Clancy will focus on the essential work of fundraising to support the school's operating expenses and student experiences. She will also develop a valuable network for alumni as she seeks to strengthen the connection between RA and its alumni community.
Clancy brings a unique combination of experiences to RA. In her previous roles as advancement associate, and community and alumni relations manager at Woodlynde School in Strafford, PA, she enhanced peer-to-peer engagement for the alumni community and implemented signature community events and programs. As banquet manager at the Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, PA, she trained and supervised the on-site team and led the successful execution of all details and special requests for events.
Perhaps her greatest accomplishment is serving as Chief Executive Officer of the James P. and Debra Fitzgerald Healy Foundation with her siblings. This nonprofit provides scholarships to students in their junior or senior year of college who are experiencing unexpected financial hardship. The organization has assisted students across the nation, from New England to California.
One of her goals this year is to “get involved beyond the office into the community and really get to know the people of Ridgefield Academy.”
Having grown up in a large family, (she is the fifth child out of 10 children), Clancy truly enjoys connecting with other people. And in case you were wondering about her unusual name...it was her great-grandmother’s maiden name and a gift bestowed upon her by her mother. When she is not visiting family, Clancy enjoys crocheting, jogging and watching old movies.
Welcome to RA, Clancy!
