As an NPR listener, we know that inclusivity, independence, and stories with integrity are important to you.
At Ridgefield Academy and Landmark Preschool, these values are embedded in our mission statement and our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Here, students learn to navigate a changing world with agility and understand their responsibility to foster connections with people of different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives.
RA|LP’s comprehensive educational program integrates traditional subjects such as math, science, English, and a world language with co-curriculars, such as music, drama, visual/digital arts, and athletics. Cultivating kindness and mutual respect is valued in our school culture and curriculum. Dedicated faculty, along with school-wide programs such as the Service Learning program, Kindergarten & Grade 8 Buddy program, and social-emotional learning workshops, actively teach students how to be a good friend, how to act as a role model for younger students, and how to create positive change within their community. As a school intentionally designed to serve preschool - Grade 8 students, RA|LP builds a strong foundation that prepares students to enter high school as capable learners, confident leaders, and authentic community builders.
