GUEST SPEAKERs at RA | LP

Inspiring Curiosity. Sparking Conversations. Deepening Understanding.

At Ridgefield Academy and Landmark Preschool, we believe learning extends far beyond the classroom. One of the ways we bring this philosophy to life is through our robust Guest Speaker Series—an ongoing initiative that brings thought leaders, authors, educators, and industry professionals to our campus to share their knowledge and spark meaningful dialogue.

These events offer our students, faculty, and parent community opportunities to engage with new perspectives, explore timely topics, and connect classroom learning to real-world experiences.

Why Guests Speakers Matter
Guest speakers play an important role in enriching the life of our school. They inspire students by offering a glimpse into diverse paths, passions, and possibilities beyond the classroom. For parents and caregivers, these events provide meaningful tools and insights for raising children in today’s complex world. And for our community as a whole, they create shared experiences that deepen understanding, spark thoughtful conversation, and bring us closer together.

Whether the topic is mental health, digital citizenship, social-emotional development, or innovation, each speaker strengthens our mission to nurture curious, compassionate, and confident learners.

STAY CONNECTED

Our Guest Speaker Series continues to evolve and respond to the needs of our community. To stay up to date on future events, be sure to check our school calendar and weekly newsletter. We look forward to welcoming you to a conversation that informs, inspires, and connects us all.

I just wanted to say thank you to you and all of the organizers for the very informative presentation yesterday. These are conversations we are all learning to have, and it sometimes feels like we’re flying by the seat of our pants without personal experience to model from. I appreciate RA’s efforts to help parents feel more empowered and supported, and I was encouraged to hear that there is a school-wide effort to educate and understand how best to navigate technology and childhood/adolescent development. It is not an easy task, so thank you!
