Welcome to a new year at Ridgefield Academy and Landmark Preschool, we're glad you're part of our community!

Communication between our school and our families is very important to us. Parents are encouraged to contact their child's teacher or the appropriate administrator with any questions by either email, phone, or by appointment. A school directory is available online with this information.

Ridgefield Academy and Landmark Preschool has instituted a text broadcast system that will enable us to notify all households and parents by text of an emergency, a closing, or other unplanned event. This system utilizes the cell phone numbers you have provided in the Patriot Portal. More information on updating these numbers can be found here.

Each Thursday our digital newsletter, the RA Weekly, is emailed to all families and provides news about upcoming events and activities as well as important information related to our programs. This newsletter is sent to the email addresses you've provided in the Patriot Portal. If you would like the newsletter sent to additional email addresses, kindly email your requests to our Communications Department. 

 

RA|LP's New Family Connections Program is in place to welcome and support all of our new families. Each new K-8 family will be assigned a host family, whose role is to answer questions about school, introduce you to other families and be a general point of contact for you. (Please note new Preschool families are contacted by a Parents Association volunteer.) The admissions office and the Parents Association partner to transition families to the school, educate you about the opportunities to get involved, and serve as a reference point when you need help. You will be receiving notification from your host family in the next few weeks, then opportunities ranging from informal summer gatherings to fall school events will begin.
