Donor-Advised Fund

At Ridgefield Academy, we see more and more families carrying out their philanthropy through Donor-Advised Funds (DAF). As the fastest-growing charitable giving vehicles in the United States, these funds are easy to set up and offer favorable tax benefits so you can strategically support the organizations you care about. Setting up a DAF requires that you make a charitable contribution of cash, securities or other assets and receive an immediate tax deduction. Then, those DAF funds are invested for tax-free growth; you can even and you can recommend grants to virtually any IRS-qualified public charity, such as Ridgefield Academy. Our DAF vehicle below makes it easy to recommend a gift through your Donor-Advised Fund.

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is like a charitable investment account: As a donor, you can contribute to your fund as frequently as you prefer and then recommend grants to non-profit organizations, like Ridgefield Academy, using the funds from that account. IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER
IRA Charitable Rollovers allow you to make tax-free charitable gifts directly from your Individual Retirement Account to Ridgefield Academy and Landmark Preschool. These rollovers (QCD's) allow donors who are at least 70.5 years old to donate money directly from their IRA's without it counting as taxable income. To learn more or begin this process, we encourage you to consult your financial advisor.
