July 1 - July 3: Survivor Camp (Closed July 4&5)

The activities are endless at Survivor Camp! During this week, campers will work together in teams and challenge each other to become the ultimate Survivor Champions. Activities such as Capture the Medallion, Rhinoball, Pirate Ship, Human Bowling and Hide and Go Seek are just a few of the games that campers will participate in during the week. An exciting obstacle course and RA’s famous ice cream eating contest will be part of the fun as well!  Each day will be packed with surprises that will test one’s physical and mental skills.

July 8 - July 12: Sparklicious Studio & Traditional Day Camp

If you love art with a sparkly twist, please take a look at RA’s Sparklicious Studio Week. Half-day themes such as Paint It!, the Exlposion Cake Bake Off, and Batch from Scratch are just a few of the activities in which campers can engage their creative imaginations! The other half of each camp day will offer a mixture of traditional day camp activities such as Bingo, tie dying, scavenger hunts, charades, crazy relay races, cooking, and some trips to Barlow Mountain pool. Daily doses of kindness and dancing fun will be incorporated in this week-long program.

July 15 - July 19: Camp Invention

Camp Invention is back at RA!! Our week of camp will be broken into four adventures. Join the Innovation Force to defeat Plagiarizer, a supervillain out to steal the world’s ideas or Deep Sea Mystery where campers will invent island-survival tools and underwater equipment used to better study marine life. In Farm Tech, campers will play the role of a farmer tackling the real-world economic challenges of running a farm and program a robot to conduct the practical tasks of running a farm. And finally, in DIY Orbot, campers will reverse-engineer a remote-controlled Orbot and explore frequency, circuit boards, motors, and gears and have their own robot participate in challenges involving art, sports, and more. Camp Invention is a week of hands-on STEM challenges and learning about world-changing inventions.

July 22 - July 26: Cupcake Wars & Traditional Day Camp

This week is perfect for children who love to bake! In this half-day, hands-on session, campers will be divided into teams and will work together to follow the cupcake daily cupcake theme.  After baking their cupcakes from scratch in the Kitchen Lab, campers will decorate them incorporating a new technique taught that day. These techniques will range from using fillings and frostings to using pastry bags to handling and applying fondant and much more. Campers will also design a presentation for the judges and will be able to take their creations home. The other half of each camp day will offer an array of traditional day camp activities such as Bingo, tie dying, scavenger hunts, charades, crazy relay races, cooking, and a trip or two to Barlow Mountain pool.
Patriot Camp is designed for children entering Kindergarten through Grade 5 and offers numerous opportunities to integrate both physical activity and educational challenges.
