Asynchronous - not occurring on a set or fixed schedule

Chromebook - a laptop computer that uses a Google account to login and access online resources

Google Meet - a video conferencing platform for real-time remote meetings

Google Classroom - a collaboration tool for teachers and students that lets teachers distribute, create, and grade assignments, and facilitates sharing files between teachers and students

Hybrid Learning - a model of teaching and learning in which part of the student population in on campus to take classes and others participate in remote classes from home
 
Parallel Remote Learning - a model of teaching and learning in which most students are present for in-person classes but students who need to stay home for medical reasons participate remotely
 
Patriot Portal - an online portal that gives Preschool – Grade 8 families the ability to change contact information, set daily transportation options, and check homework and ongoing assignments (Middle and Upper School only)
 
Remote Learning - a model of teaching and learning in which teachers and students participate in classes from home while all or part of the campus is closed

Seesaw - an online platform that allows teachers to assign activities and students to document their learning using assigned materials, photos, videos, and drawings

Synchronous - occurring on a set or fixed schedule
