Sophia Alfero LP '07
Sophia is a junior at Villanova University in the College of Nursing and is currently getting hands-on nursing experience through clinicals. Sophia also volunteers and serves as the Local Philanthropy Chair of her sorority.
Anni Satinover Denzel '02 & Chris Denzel '01
Anni and Chris have been living in Okinawa, Japan, for the last six months, where Chris is stationed. Chris has been traveling for his job, which has taken him to mainland Japan and Hawaii, and Anni started a new remote role with an Oakland-based educational nonprofit. Their favorite excursions on the island have included visiting castle ruins from the 1400s, touring a local coral farm, checking out the unbelievably intricate and creative playgrounds, going to pottery festivals, eating delicious food, and taking their dogs to beaches.
Elisabeth (Kjellberg) Koch '03
After graduating from RA, Elisabeth attended Weston High School and studied industrial engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. From there, she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to start work at Ingersoll Rand while completing her master’s degree from Northeastern University. In 2018, she was commissioned as a civil engineering officer in the US Air Force Reserve, deploying to the Middle East in 2021. After arriving home, she married her husband, an Army infantry officer, just six weeks later. Elisabeth is still working for Ingersoll Rand from her home in Georgia and is a captain in the USAF Reserve.
Liza Berisford '13
In May 2022, Grade 2 teacher Katie Spiro and two Ridgefield alumni, sister Lane Berisford ’12 and friend Alexander Ross ’15, celebrated Liza’s graduation for her master’s in education. All three alumni were former students of Ms. Spiro. Liza is currently working at South School Elementary in New Canaan. Lane ’12 recently took a new position at Synchrony Financial.
Robert Thompson '15
Robert is studying at the Florence University of the Arts in Italy and is working on an online degree from Fairfield University. Since April, Robert has done photo shoots/documentation for the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Center, Anelli Mancanti, and the Decibel Open Air music festival. In August, Robert captured his first political campaign shoot for Judge Wesley Tibbals in Brandon, Florida. Robert also traveled to Fort Garland, Colorado to find and document people living “off the grid”. Robert recently had his first publication in Florence University’s magazine, Blending.
Simone Moales '15
Simone spent her summer on Capitol Hill serving as an intern in the Office of Congresswoman Jahana Hayes (CT-05).
Neil Sachdeva ’17
Neil is a sophomore at Yale University studying computer science with a minor in economics. He will be spending the summer working at Amazon as a software development engineer intern in the Bay Area.
